What we offer

Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.

All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.

Our school canteen operates on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week from 11:30am to 12:20pm. All lunch orders should be handed to the canteen before 9:30am. Please ensure that students name and class are clearly marked on the bag.

For more information about our canteen menu, download and view the 2021 Canteen Menu.

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.

Each fortnight in even weeks, we have a whole-school assembly at 1:20pm on a Wednesday afternoon. At this assembly, students are presented with merit awards for outstanding progress and achievement, and/or for consistently striving towards the four school values. These values are:

  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Resilience
  • Personal Best

Throughout the school year various assemblies are organised for special events such as Anzac Day and Remembrance Day. Our MKPS families and community members are more than welcome to attend any assemblies held at our school.
