Dancing up a Storm!

 

 

In term 2, Mrs Eastgate, Mrs Corkery and the dance group auditioned for the Sydney North Schools Dance Festival and were successful in obtaining a position in the festival. We were extremely proud of the students' hard work and dedication to learning and practicing the dance to perfection.

 

The dance group performed in the festival three times both during matinee performances and evening performances.  The students should be commended on their tremendous effort not only on stage, but back stage to. They all looked amazing in their dynamite costumes and did a great job representing our school.

 

A big thank you goes out to Lucy Oswald who choreographed our ‘Dynamite' Dance and spent time each week rehearsing with the students.

 

Thank you also, to all the parents who volunteered their time to transport students to and from events and rehearsals.

The dance group were also excited to perform at the  Mount Kuring-gai Mountain Festival.
